Case Gradini – Mountain Dream Home BEGINS — Breaking Ground

Iti recomandam: Firma de Marketing Online

UPDATE: These first couple Mountain Dream Home updates were some of the first videos we made and the sound goes hot and quiet and back and forth. Sorry about that!

Come along for the ride as we build our dream home in the mountains! Timber framed, off grid, and mostly DIY, our biggest-project-ever has to be “dried in” by snowfall, just three or four months from now. As we build, these short “episodes” will come out every other week (on Wednesdays) documenting our successes and our failures, as well as some of Nick’s timber frame home building techniques.

So enjoying the whole playlist of this project! I got to #34 Ladder Work, and then all of a sudden next came (the missing?) updates 1-4 but no 35-37. Are those somewhere to be found? None the less, what a fantastic, interesting series!

Love all the videos but just wish the music was not so louder then the voices, as I have to keep turning up and down my volume control as the talking is to soft when the music is not to loud for me and vise versa!.

When the land is hilly or mountainous, it's very difficult to "eyeball" a level site. Believe me I know…the site for our hoop house was out of level by 16 inches. I thought maybe 3-4 inches, NEVER thought it was 16 inches out!! I spent a LOT of time on my tractor trying to get it reasonably level. Looking forward to following your progress.

Case Gradini – House Construction Documentary

Iti recomandam: Producatorul de Centrale Peleti Mareli

This project took me all summer. The house was just being started as school let out, and the house finished up literally on the very last days before school started. I live about a half mile away (and about 200 feet lower) than this house, and I rode my bike up multiple times a day with my camera and tripod to get this footage. I went out of my way to make sure I got as much footage as possible. There were several things, like carpet, hardwood floors, driveway, grass, etc that I had to miss unfortunately, but the video still turned out awesome. This is just a small portion of all the footage.

Special thanks to everyone who let me film them, I had a blast. There are some really awesome people in this video. I also thank the people at the McNaughton Homes office for giving me permission to do this.

Next summer I plan on making another documentary like this, but better. If you have any suggestions, let me know 🙂
